E-Bus Power Injection

The Beckhoff EL9400 is a specialized power supply terminal designed to refresh the E-bus power within an EtherCAT terminal strand. In large automation setups where many I/O modules are connected in a row, the power consumed by the communication circuitry (E-bus) can drop. The EL9400 is used to inject an additional 24V DC, ensuring that the communication remains stable across the entire assembly.

The EL9400 provides a maximum output current of 2A to the E-bus.
