The Omron C200HW-PRT21 is a communication module that adds PROFIBUS DP slave functionality to C200H, C200HS, and C200HE/HG/HX series programmable logic controllers. This unit allows the Omron PLC to participate as a slave device on a PROFIBUS DP network, exchanging cyclic I/O data with a PROFIBUS master (such as a Siemens S7 or another DP master). The module supports baud rates up to 12 Mbps and is configured via standard GSD files, making it easy to integrate into mixed-vendor automation systems.
Key Features
PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave compliant
Automatic baud rate detection up to 12 Mbps
Up to 244 bytes input + 244 bytes output data
GSD file provided for simple master configuration
Diagnostic LEDs for network status
Integration
Mounts in C200H backplane (one slot)
Direct I/O memory mapping via DM or IR area
Supports synchronous and freeze mode
9-pin D-sub female connector for PROFIBUS
