The built-in real-time clock provides time-stamped event logging and scheduled control operations.

Communication Capabilities

The C60H-C1DR-DE-V1 includes a built-in RS-232C port for programming and host communication. This port supports Omron's Host Link protocol, allowing connection to a supervisory computer or HMI for data monitoring, parameter changes, and program upload/download. Communication parameters are configurable for baud rates up to 19.2 kbps. Protection and Diagnostics

The controller includes comprehensive diagnostic features for reliable operation. A watchdog timer monitors CPU execution, triggering an error output if the program exceeds the scan time limit. Built-in self-diagnostic functions detect power supply faults, memory errors, and I/O bus failures. An LED status indicator panel provides visual feedback for power, run, error, and I/O status. The relay outputs are fused and protected against overcurrent conditions.

Memory Backup

The C60H-C1DR-DE-V1 employs an EEPROM memory system that retains the user program and parameter settings without an external battery. The program is stored in non-volatile memory, ensuring data integrity even during prolonged power outages. For applications requiring data retention, an optional battery backup for the data memory area can be installed, preserving timer/counter current values and holding relay states.
