Eaton CAN-16DO/0.5A-PK – 16-Channel Digital Output Module with CANopen

The Eaton CAN-16DO/0.5A-PK (catalog number 140254) is a compact, intelligent remote I/O module designed for distributed automation architectures. Part of Eaton’s XC series expansion modules, it communicates via CANopen protocol, making it easy to integrate with Eaton PLCs, motion controllers, or third-party master devices. With 16 digital outputs rated at 0.5 A per channel, it can directly drive small actuators, indicator lights, contactors, and relay coils.

Designed for Distributed Control

In modern machine design, placing I/O close to sensors and actuators reduces cabling and simplifies maintenance. The CAN-16DO/0.5A-PK is housed in a rugged IP20 enclosure suitable for control cabinet installation. Its spring‑clamp terminals (Push-in technology) allow fast and vibration-resistant wiring without special tools.
