Description
DS3800HLNE | General Electric Network Controller Board

DS3800HLNE | General Electric Network Controller Board

Product Description P/N: DS3800HLNE DESCRIPTION / SPECIFICATIONS Description The DS3800HLNE General Electric Network Controller Board is designed for efficient network management in industrial control systems. It facilitates reliable communication and data exchange between system components. Built for robustness and high performance, it ensures seamless integration and operation in demanding environments. Technical Specifications Condition New / Never Used Surplus Brand General Electric Category PLCs/Machine Control Part Number DS3800HLNE Subcategory PC Board PLC/Add-On Board Type Network Controller Board Series Mark IV Series Board Type Control / Network Interface Communication Protocol GE Mark IV proprietary protocol Voltage Rating 5V DC (standard logic level) Operating Temperature 0掳C to +60掳C Storage Temperature -20掳C to +85掳C Humidity Range 5% to 95% non-condensing Information About DS3800HLNE The GE Network Controller Board DS3800HLNE, used in various applications, is equipped with a modular connector on one end and retention levers on the other.

It features a microprocessor, multiple transistor-transistor logic (TTL) devices, three red LEDs, one amber LED, several EEPROM sockets, 16 jumpers, and a 34-pin connector. The microprocessor on the DS3800HLNE manages the board鈥檚 networking functions. Installed in a socket embedded on the board, it generates heat during operation, necessitating adequate cooling. To ensure proper cooling, install the board in a rack location with at least 3 inches of open space around it, allowing air to flow freely over the microprocessor. Ensure that ribbon cables inside the drive do not obstruct airflow. If the drive shuts down, use diagnostic tools to check the error log, which may indicate an overheat condition that triggered the automatic shutdown. Before restarting the drive, verify that air vents at the top and bottom are clear to prevent overheating.
