FloBoss S600+ P155 PSU Board 7161550
Product Code: 7161550
The P155 PSU Board is the dedicated power supply unit for the FloBoss S600+ Flow Computer. This module is responsible for converting the incoming external DC power into the stable, isolated voltages required by the CPU, I/O modules, and other internal components. A reliable power supply is fundamental to the accuracy and uptime of any fiscal measurement system.
Designed for industrial environments, the P155 accepts a wide input range of 20 to 32 Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 30 Vdc and a maximum power consumption of 48 W. The typical power consumption varies based on the number of installed I/O modules, ranging from approximately 18 W with one module to 36 W with three modules. This efficient design ensures that the system operates within optimal power parameters.
Reliable Power Management and Protection
Input Protection: Features a 2.5 A anti-surge slow blow fuse and thermistor protection limiting inrush current to 6 A at 25°C.
Isolated Outputs: Provides galvanically isolated 24 Vdc (500 mA) and 15 Vdc (100 mA) outputs for powering field devices and maintaining signal integrity.
Hold-Up Protection: Offers a hold-up period greater than 10 ms after a power fail flag, ensuring the system has time to perform safe shutdown procedures.
Power Fail Flag: Monitors input voltage and signals the CPU when the supply drops below 17 to 19 Vdc, triggering appropriate data saving actions.
The PSU board is designed with three-way galvanic isolation, providing protection between the input supply, the computer, and the ground. This isolation is critical for preventing ground loops and protecting sensitive electronics from electrical surges. The module's robust protection features ensure that the S600+ can withstand typical industrial power fluctuations without compromising data integrity.
Engineered as a Eurocard-compatible module, the P155 slides in and out from the rear of the chassis for easy replacement and maintenance. Its compact design and high efficiency make it an integral part of the S600+ system, ensuring that the flow computer operates reliably under all conditions, thereby safeguarding critical measurement data.
