Product Overview

The DS200ACNAG1ADD is an ARCNET connectivity card specially designed by GE for its successful Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management system, the Mark V series, which has been managing heavy-duty turbine systems since the 1960s and has been developed to be even more reliable and advanced as technology continues to advance. The DS200ACNAG1ADD card provides a key connection point for ARCNET LAN communications within the Mark V system.

Product Features

Communication Connectivity: The DS200ACNAG1ADD card enables data communication between components within the Mark V system via the ARCNET network. These signals are transmitted via coaxial cable between the main processor boards (LDCC) and ultimately to the turbine control operator interface and back.

HARDWARE COMPONENTS: The connection card is equipped with the necessary hardware components, including four metal film resistors (R1 to R4), three capacitors (C1 to C3) and a diode. In addition, there are two relays located near the bottom edge of the board, each containing relay diagrams on the top surface for visual representation of the relay logic.

Communication Devices: The DS200ACNAG1ADD card is equipped with three communication devices, including a vertical pin terminal connector with six pins, located in the middle of the board, and two BNC plugs (right-angle, female) that are used to receive LAN coaxial cables to enable connection to the ARCNET network.
