The HIMA 80105 (order number 984080105) is a high-reliability power supply module specifically designed for use in HIMatrix safety systems. It accepts a nominal 24 VDC input from an external industrial power source and provides the regulated voltages required by the CPU, I/O modules, and communication interfaces within the HIMatrix controller. Certified for safety applications up to SIL 3 (IEC 61508), the 80105 ensures that critical safety functions receive clean and stable power, even under fault conditions. Its compact design integrates seamlessly into the HIMatrix chassis, and its comprehensive diagnostics allow for continuous monitoring of power quality.

The diagnostic relay can be wired to a digital input module to report power status to the safety controller. The front-panel LEDs provide immediate visual feedback: green for normal operation, red for fault. In redundant setups, both modules share the load; if one fails, the other continues to supply full power without interruption.
