The HIMA F-PWR02 is a dedicated power supply module designed for use with HIMA F-series (HIMatrix compact) safety controllers. It accepts a nominal 24 VDC input from an external industrial power source and provides the regulated voltages required by the CPU and I/O modules within the F-series system. The module is certified for use in SIL 3 applications and includes essential protection features such as overload, short-circuit, and reverse polarity protection. The F-PWR02 is used in all F-series safety controllers, which are typically deployed in machinery safety, emergency stop systems, light curtain monitoring, and smaller process safety functions. Its reliable power delivery ensures uninterrupted operation of the safety logic solver, even under fault conditions.
The module plugs directly into the F-series controller's backplane and is automatically recognized. The diagnostic LED provides immediate visual status. For remote monitoring, the fault signal can be accessed via a dedicated pin on the backplane and wired to a digital input module to alert the safety system of a power supply issue. In redundant configurations, two F-PWR02 modules can share the load; if one fails, the other continues to supply full power, ensuring system availability.
Designed for industrial environments, the F-PWR02 meets IEC 61000-4 immunity standards and is tested for vibration and shock. Its operating temperature range covers most industrial applications. The module is RoHS compliant and carries CE and UL marks.
