Honeywell Series 7020 Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer
Honeywell Series 7020 Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer
DESCRIPTION
The Series 7020 Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer is provided in: two basic models/measurement ranges ppm (parts per million, 10-6) measurements are made in wastewater, environmental, and process applications; ppb (parts per billion, 10-9) measurements are made in pure water samples of steam power generation, semiconductor manufacturing, and other applications. The probe has outstanding rangeability and durability, providing excellent performance in both applications.

Benefits
• Lowest cost of ownership Many functions within the same instrument reduce hardware, installation, operating and maintenance costs.
• Lowest maintenance No internal probe maintenance changing, no electrolyte replacement, no electrode rejuvenation or changing, automated cleaning and calibration capability.
• Highest accuracy Measurement is independent of sample flow and inert probe fouling.
Applications
PPM-range analyzers measure the concentration of dissolved oxygen in municipal or industrial wastewater, lagoons, and open water. Typical applications include control of aerated biological processes, monitoring for wastewater plant influent changes, monitoring wastewater effluent for compliance, control of reservoir aeration systems, environmental surveillance and monitoring of fishhatchery and aqua-culture conditions.
For wastewater aeration control to maximize energy savings, the Series 7020 Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer includes full PID (proportional, integral, derivative) control with either CAT (current adjusting type) or DAT (duration adjusting type) output. In addition, a feedforward process flow input enables immediate corrective action for flowrate variations.
To reduce maintenance in heavily fouling applications, unattended automatic cleaning and/or calibration can be controlled by the Series 7020 Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer, which has timing, logic and relay contacts to activate external hardware. The clean/cal sequence can also be activated from the front panel or by external contact closure.
