INTRODUCTION

In stand-alone or network configurations, Honeywell’s XLS140-2 meets virtually every application requirement for a fire alarm control panel (FACP). The XLS140-2’s modular design makes system planning easier. The panel can be configured with just a few devices for small building applications, or networked with many devices to protect a large campus or a high-rise office block. Simply add additional peripheral equipment to suit the application. A host of other options are available, including single- or multichannel voice; firefighter’s telephone; LED, LCD, or PC-based graphic annunciators; networking; advanced detection products for challenging environments; wireless fire protection; and many additional options.
