The LTi SO84.045 is a high-power three-phase servo drive from the ServoOne family, featuring BG5 housing. It delivers 45A continuous current and 90A peak current, making it suitable for large industrial axes. Both air-cooled and liquid-cooled versions are offered, with mandatory external mains choke.

For BG5 air-cooled, maintain 180 mm clearance above and below. For liquid-cooled, a cooling circuit with sufficient flow (8 l/min nominal) is mandatory. Use shielded motor cables (max 25 mm² terminal capacity). An external mains choke must be installed between mains filter and drive. The PE conductor must be sized according to EN 61800-5-1 (≥10 mm² Cu or two conductors).
Commission using DriveManager 5. The 7-segment display shows status. The power stage is enabled by +24V on ENPO and ISDSH (STO). The drive supports iPlc (CoDeSys) and various fieldbus options (EtherCAT, SERCOS). For braking, the internal brake chopper can handle up to 67 kW peak. A thermal switch in the braking resistor should be wired to a digital input for protection.
Ideal for servo motors up to 22 kW (400V). Typical uses include large presses, extruders, heavy-duty conveyor systems, and test stands. The 90A peak ensures high dynamic performance even with high inertia loads.
Complies with EN 61800-5-1, EN 61800-3, LVD, EMC. UL approval for BG5 with specified fuses (class RK1) and tightening torques.
