OEMAX NX-BASE10 10-Slot PLC Backplane

The OEMAX NX-BASE10 is a 10-slot backplane (rack) designed for the OEMAX NX Series programmable logic controller (PLC) system. It provides the mechanical and electrical foundation for installing the CPU module, power supply module, and various I/O modules (digital, analog, temperature, and communication modules). The backplane ensures reliable communication between modules via the high-speed NX bus, forming a scalable and modular control system for industrial automation.

Modular Expansion Capability

The NX-BASE10 supports system expansion through additional backplanes, allowing users to scale I/O capacity as application requirements grow. The NX Series supports a maximum of 384 I/O points when using 32-point modules with a 12-slot backplane. When using 64-point digital I/O modules, a 12-slot base backplane combined with a 12-slot expansion backplane can support up to 1600 I/O points. This modularity provides flexibility for applications ranging from small machine control to large-scale process automation.

Reliable Backplane Design
