The Phoenix Contact UT 4-MTD is a standard feed-through terminal block from the UT (Universal Terminal) series. It provides a simple, reliable screw connection for solid and stranded wires. With a width of only 6.2 mm, it saves valuable space on DIN rails. The terminal block is rated for 32A and 800V, making it suitable for a wide range of signal and power distribution applications in industrial control panels.

The UT 4-MTD features Phoenix Contact's proven screw-clamp technology, which provides a gas-tight, vibration-proof connection. The clamp body is made of a copper alloy with a protective tin-plating. The housing has a large marking surface for standard Phoenix Contact ZB labeling strips. The terminal block also accepts Phoenix Contact's FBS series jumpers for potential distribution, as well as end covers and partition plates. The connection cross-section of 6 mm² allows for solid or stranded wires, with or without ferrules.
This terminal block is used for general-purpose wiring in control cabinets, including 24V DC distribution, 230V AC power supply to devices, and signal wiring for PLCs, sensors, and actuators. Its compact width allows high-density installations, and the wide operating temperature range makes it suitable for harsh environments.
Phoenix Contact offers a complete accessory range: bridging jumpers (FBS 2-6, FBS 3-6, etc.), end brackets (E-UK), partition plates (ATP-UT), and test plugs (T-UK). Marking strips (ZB 6) can be inserted into the marking groove on top of the terminal block.
