The Vibro-meter VM600 IOC4T is a high-precision 4-channel input/output module designed for the VM600 machinery protection and condition monitoring system. This module is optimized for critical measurement points requiring enhanced signal fidelity and dedicated processing capabilities, making it ideal for vibration monitoring on essential rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors, and generators.
Each of the four channels features independent 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion with programmable input ranges. The module supports direct connection to a wide variety of sensors including IEPE accelerometers, velocity transducers, eddy current proximity probes, and 4-20 mA process transmitters. Integrated signal conditioning provides sensor excitation, programmable filtering, and scaling to engineering units.
The IOC4T accepts multiple input types configurable per channel. Voltage inputs support ranges of ±10 V and ±5 V for connection to various transducer outputs. Current inputs accept 4-20 mA signals from process transmitters with built-in loop power options. For dynamic vibration measurements, the module provides IEPE/ICP constant current excitation with selectable gain stages. Proximity probe inputs include integrated demodulation for displacement measurements.

The IOC4T incorporates dedicated signal processing capabilities for each channel, enabling simultaneous calculation of multiple measurement parameters. The module computes overall vibration amplitude in velocity or acceleration units, displacement from proximity probes, and process values from current loops. On-board spectral analysis provides FFT processing with configurable line resolution for detailed vibration analysis.
Designed for hot-swap installation in VM600 series racks, the IOC4T supports module replacement without system power-down. Front panel LEDs provide clear status indication for each channel, including sensor health, signal validity, and communication status. The module performs continuous self-diagnostics, monitoring sensor bias levels, cable integrity, and internal reference voltages to ensure measurement reliability.
