Woodward 8235-350 electric governor actuator
The Woodward Model 8235-350 is part of the ProAct and ProAct Plus actuator and drive families. His specific model is a ProAct actuator with integrated speed control and integrated throttle body. Models 8235-350 require a gap of at least.5mm between the support bracket and the electronic closure. This is necessary because the housing is supported on the isolators, and when supported on these isolators, high-frequency vibrations are filtered out and prevented from reaching the electronics.
Although this model requires a Type III PISC model, it does not differ from the previous PISC II model in terms of power requirements. Power requirements remain in the 18 to 32 VDC voltage range with A current capacity of at least 15 A. When fusing, the third model differs from the previous model in that it has A larger quick strike, with A 20 A quick strike compared to the smaller 15 A quick strike.
The 8235-350 model requires O-Rng grooves in the flange for connecting the actuator. These O-RNGs will be Parker 2-255 Rngs. When installing this device, it is recommended to install it as a base mount, which must occur due to the high quality on the actuator and the increase in the lever arm between the center of gravity and the center of the hole.
