Schneider Electric XBTGT2110 Magelis HMI Touch Panel

The Schneider Electric XBTGT2110 is a Magelis series advanced graphic touch panel designed for industrial automation applications. It features a 10.4-inch TFT color LCD display with 640 × 480 pixel resolution (VGA) and 65,536 colors. The panel includes an analog resistive touch screen, making it suitable for gloved operation. The XBTGT2110 is equipped with two Ethernet ports (10/100 Mbps) for networking and daisy-chaining, two USB ports (type A) for external storage and peripherals, one USB mini-B for programming, one serial RS-232C port, and one RS-485 port. Programming and Software

The XBTGT2110 is programmed using Schneider Electric Vijeo Designer software (version 5.2 or later). Installation and Wiring

Mount the panel in a 294 mm × 222 mm cutout using the supplied brackets. Connect 24 V DC power to the terminals (positive and ground). Connect the PLC to the RS-232C, RS-485, or Ethernet port as required. USB ports can be used for mouse, keyboard, or flash drive. The rear of the panel includes a DIP switch for COM port configuration. Ensure the grounding screw is connected to the panel ground. The front seal must be in good condition to maintain IP65 rating.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Clean the screen with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents. The internal battery (CR2032) retains the real-time clock and may need replacement every 5-7 years. If the panel fails to boot, check the power supply and the firmware. The Vijeo Designer software can update the firmware via USB. The panel includes diagnostic LEDs for power and communication.
