China can build Bangladesh SUMMIT Margaret Gas Turbine power Station Phase II project 9HA combined cycle generator set through 168 hours
of trial operation
At 00:00 on April 26, local time, the 9HA class combined cycle generator unit of the SUMMIT Margaret Gas Turbine Power Station Phase II project in Bangladesh, which was jointly contracted by China Energy Construction and General Electric Company (GE) of the United States, mainly implemented by TEPCO I and designed by Zhejiang Institute, successfully passed the 168-hour trial operation.
Located about 36 kilometers southeast of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, the project is planned to be a 9H dual-fuel combined cycle unit, which is the first 9H class gas turbine in Bangladesh. The 168-hour reliability operation test started from 00:00 on April 19, local time, after 72 hours of full load operation experiment, 6 hours of reliable capacity test and other tests. During the test, the unit ran stably, the protection input rate was 100%, the automatic input rate, the instrument input rate, the hydrogen leakage rate, the unit vibration and other parameters were excellent, and all met the contract requirements. After the completion of the project, it is expected to generate 4.7 billion KWH of electricity per year, which can further ease the power shortage in Bangladesh, especially in the capital Dhaka, benefiting millions of local residents.
