Recently, Northwest Coal Machinery, a subsidiary of Shanghai Research Institute of China Coal Technology, developed the first super-large capacity high-efficiency fan shaped displacement belt conveyor in China, which was successfully operated in Yuanjiacun Iron Mine of Shanxi TISCO Lanxian Mining Company Limited, with a capacity of 10,000t/h, far exceeding the conventional capacity of 6500t/h. The equipment is mainly used for the transport of sandstone in open pit mines, and can also be used for the transport of other bulk materials. Since its operation, all the performance indexes of the equipment have reached the expected results, and the users have given full affirmation and highly praised the advanced design concept of NWCM of Shanghai Research Institute.
The high-efficiency fan shifting belt conveyor adopts a number of key technologies and uses a new rotating tail structure, which solves the problems of large amount of construction work, long construction period, difficult operation, repeated movement of the anchoring device and secondary disassembling and burying of the fan shifting belt conveyor during the shifting, and achieves the purpose of low-cost and high-efficiency shifting. This important breakthrough has shortened the fan shifting period from 6 to 8 days to less than 1 day, achieving the purpose of cost reduction and efficiency increase, and bringing significant economic benefits to users.
