Recently, the national ‘14th Five-Year Plan’ major energy infrastructure projects - Guangxi LNG pipeline duplicate line (Baise - Wenshan) project officially started construction.
The project starts from the first station of Baise in Baise Right River District, Guangxi, and ends at the last station of Yanshan in Yanshan County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan, passing through Guangxi and Yunnan, with a total length of 346.8 kilometres, a design pressure of 10 MPa, and an annual transmission capacity of 1 billion cubic metres, which is a key project to enhance the introduction of resources in Guangxi and Yunnan, optimize and perfect the layout of regional oil and gas pipeline network, and promote the transformation and upgrading of energy structure and the high-quality economic and social development of the old revolutionary areas.
After the project is completed and put into operation, it will be connected with the Nanning-Baise branch line of the second line of West-East Natural Gas Pipeline, effectively solving the problem of a single source of gas in Guangxi and Yunnan, and increasing the supply of natural gas by 1 billion cubic metres per year for the southeast Yunnan area, strongly supporting the optimization of the local industrial industrial layout and structural adjustment, and the development of new quality productivity in accordance with the local conditions and new kinetic energy for the realization of high-quality development.
