It can convert DC power into AC power, or convert AC power of one frequency into AC power of another frequency.


Working principle

The 5SHY35L4512 thyristor module adopts a structure of two thyristors connected in reverse, which is a four layer high-power semiconductor device with three PN junctions. Its work is based on the basic principle of thyristors. When a suitable trigger signal is applied to the gate, the thyristor is triggered to conduct, and current can flow from the anode to the cathode. In the conducting state, as long as the anode current is greater than the holding current, the thyristor will remain conducting; When the anode current drops below the holding current or a reverse voltage is applied, the thyristor returns to the cutoff state. By flexibly controlling the gate signal, the on/off control of the current in the circuit is achieved, thereby achieving various power control and conversion functions.
