In industrial settings, standard commercial computers often experience frequent malfunctions due to poor heat dissipation, insufficient mechanical strength, or limited power supply range. For example, outdoor traffic monitoring equipment needs to operate stably in high temperatures in summer and severe cold in winter, vehicle systems need to withstand continuous vibrations caused by road bumps, and factory automation production lines require equipment to work for a long time without faults. The traditional design of installing fans for heat dissipation not only increases the number of fault points, but also inhales dust, reducing reliability.
The Linghua MXE-1000 series adopts a robust design concept of fanless and wireless cable, which fundamentally solves these pain points. The core idea is to conduct the heat of the CPU to the external heat sink through an efficient thermal conductive shell, utilizing natural convection for heat dissipation; At the same time, board to board connections are used internally to reduce the risk of cable looseness; The wide temperature components and wide voltage power input make it suitable for various power supply environments. 2.1 Processor and Chipset
CPU:Intel Atom N270, Main frequency 1.6 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 512 KB L2 cache, single core dual threading (supporting hyper threading technology). TDP was only 2.5W, making it one of the lowest power x86 processors at the time. This allowed the entire machine to operate without fan passive cooling, while ensuring sufficient computing power to handle data acquisition, protocol conversion, and lightweight image processing.
Chipset: Intel 945GSE (graphics memory controller)+ICH7-M (I/O controller), compatible with Atom N270, supports DDR2 533 MHz memory (onboard or SO-DIMM, specific capacity not detailed in manual, usually up to 2GB).
2.2 Memory and Storage
Memory: Adopting DDR2 533 MHz SO-DIMM, with a maximum capacity of 2GB (common configuration 1GB).
Storage: Provides external CF card slot (CompactFlash, supports Type I/II) and internal Mini PCIe socket (with USIM card holder), capable of installing mSATA SSD or 3G/4G modules. MXE-1020 is equipped with two 1394b live ports (9-pin, 800 Mbps). Due to its isochronous transmission and low latency characteristics, it is more suitable for high-speed image streaming than USB 2.0.

Provide 4 RS-232 serial ports, of which 2 are configurable for RS-232/422/485 (via jumper or BIOS selection), and the other 2 are fixed RS-232.
