Differences in Product Positioning and Core Architecture
The NuPRO-E340 follows the PICMG 1.3 standard and provides PCIe x16, PCIe x4, and traditional 32-bit/33MHz PCI buses through the Gold Finger, compatible with industrial backboards that support PCIe expansion (such as ADLINK EBP-13E2). Compared with the NuPRO-A40H of the same series PICMG 1.0, the core advantages of E340 are:

Practical installation of core components
1. CPU installation (LGA1155)
The operation process is exactly the same as NuPRO-A40H: disconnect the power, wear an anti-static wristband, unlock the lever, remove the protective cover, align the CPU golden triangle with the Pin1 symbol of the socket, place it vertically (foolproof design), close the cover and lock it. It is strictly prohibited to touch the socket spring to avoid deformation and poor contact.
2. Heat sink and fan
The CPU must be equipped with an active heat sink, the FAN1 interface is 4-pin PWM, and supports BIOS intelligent speed regulation (see the hardware monitoring section later). The application of thermal conductive silicone grease should be evenly thin, and the fixing screws should be gradually tightened diagonally to prevent crushing the core.
3. Memory installation
Supports 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB non ECC buffered DDR3 1333/1066 modules, with a maximum total capacity of 8GB (4GB per module). To achieve optimal dual channel performance, it is recommended that the capacity, rate, and CAS delay of both channels be consistent. During installation, first bend the buckle outward and insert it vertically into the anti mistake notch until the buckle automatically returns to its original position.
