Chapter 2: Core Component Installation - CPU, Heat Sink, and Memory
2.1 Key points for LGA775 CPU installation
NuPRO-852 uses LGA775 (Socket T) socket, installation steps:
Unlock the load rod: Press down on the hook of the load rod, disengage from the fixed buckle, and rotate upwards to about 135 °.
Open the load board: Rotate the load board upwards to about 100 °.
Remove the protective cover: Press the center of the protective cover with your thumb, and at the same time grab the protective cover tab to remove it.
Alignment installation: Identify the two positioning notches on the CPU and align them with the positioning keys on the socket. Important warning: 'Tilting the processor into place or shifting it into place on the socket can damage the sensitive socket contacts.' must be placed vertically and cannot be tilted or slid.
Locking: Close the load plate, press down the load lever, and fasten it into the fixed buckle.
Important reminder: "In order to boot up with a newly installed CPU, AC power must be switched off before installation." AC power must be disconnected before installing the CPU.
