The EDS-308 series is an 8-port unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch launched by Moxa, positioned as a low-cost, high reliability network connection solution for industrial scenarios. Its design focuses on the stringent requirements of industrial environments, with features such as wide temperature adaptation, fault alarm, anti-interference, etc. It can achieve Ethernet data transmission for industrial equipment (such as PLC, sensors, frequency converters, cameras), and typical application scenarios include:

Industrial automation: data exchange between equipment in manufacturing production lines and smart factories;

Energy and infrastructure: equipment networking in power substations and petrochemical parks (compatible with Class 1 Div. 2/ATEX Zone 2 hazardous areas);

Transportation and Logistics: Network Connection of Rail Transit Signal Systems and Port Terminal Equipment;

Adverse environmental scenarios: industrial sites with high and low temperatures (-40~75 ℃), high electromagnetic interference, and frequent vibrations.

Broadcast storm protection: Suppress network broadcast storms and prevent single device failures from causing the entire network to crash;

100% aging test: Full process aging test before leaving the factory to ensure long-term stable operation in industrial scenarios.

Compatible with hazardous areas

Certification: ATEX Zone 2, Class 1 Div. 2, can be used in flammable and explosive environments such as petrochemicals and gas processing to reduce safety risks.

(1) Installation method

DIN rail installation: standard DIN rail buckle, compatible with 35mm standard rail, easy to install densely inside the control cabinet;

Wall mounted installation: Optional wall mounted kit (WK-46) is required, including 2 mounting plates and 8 screws, suitable for scenarios without rails;

Size and weight: 53.6 × 135 × 105mm (width × length × height), weight 790g, compact size, saves installation space.
