Mandatory installation requirement: TB850, as a CEX Bus terminator, must be installed on the last unit of the CEX bus, which is the key to ensuring the integrity of the bus signal. If not installed according to this requirement, it may cause bus signal reflection, attenuation, or interference, leading to unstable communication, data transmission errors, and even system failures.

Location confirmation: Before installation, it is necessary to clarify the topology structure of the CEX bus, accurately identify the units at the end of the bus, ensure that the terminal is directly connected to the unit, and avoid being mistakenly installed at intermediate nodes.


Physical installation and connection

Connector matching: The product is equipped with a 25 pin DB25P male connector. During installation, it is necessary to confirm that the device interface connected to it is a matching DB25 female connector, and the pin definitions are consistent to prevent poor contact or signal misalignment caused by interface mismatch.

Fixed method: When using screws for fixation, it is necessary to use screws of appropriate specifications (recommended to refer to the product manual) to ensure a firm connection between the terminal and the equipment, avoiding loosening due to vibration, impact, and other factors that may affect signal transmission. Meanwhile, the fixing force should be moderate, as excessive tightening may damage the connector or equipment interface.
