What is ABB ZEE600?
The ABB AbilityTM electrification Monitoring and control platform for distribution networks, ABB zenon Electrification Version ZEE600, enables seamless integration of various devices deployed in digital electrification solutions. Examples include protective relays, meters, substation equipment condition monitoring units, programmable logic controllers (PLCS) and remote terminal units (Rtus) manufactured by ABB and third parties. In doing so, it leverages their real-time, near-real-time, and diagnostic data to drive customer-set digital goals across different segments.
ABB ZEE600 fully supports IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5 and Modbus TCP, the world's leading communication standards for electrified automation systems, as well as standards such as DNP, Profinet, Profibus and other open/proprietary protocols. It also includes the IEC 62349 Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) for processing and parsing identical communication messages from two separate Lans.
