Description

It is hot-swappable and can be directly inserted into the monitoring module slot in the Emerson power system cabinet. The monitoring module directly collects the signal of the AC and DC distribution unit through the signal switching board W74C5X1 in the cabinet of the power system, and outputs the control signal; Communicate with all rectifier modules through the RS485 interface on the signal switching board to obtain the information of each rectifier module. The monitoring module uses the general power protocol. Ensure that the baud rate is set as required. The monitoring module also supports the Ministry of Railways communication protocol, and pay attention to the baud rate setting consistent with the required baud rate.

The monitoring module supports both background RS232 and MODEM communication and provides eight pairs of dry contacts for alarm output. After the monitoring module is installed in the system, the corresponding interface is located on the signal conversion board W74C5X1 in the cabinet. The control function monitoring module can issue corresponding action instructions to the monitored object according to the running state of the system. The monitoring module supports automatic and manual battery management. In manual mode, the control actions are as follows: Equalize charge/float charge/Test for the battery string and power on/power off for the battery string. Power on/Off of the load; "Module Voltage Regulation", "Module current Limiting", "On DC/off DC/On AC/off AC/Reset" of the rectifier module; In the automatic mode, all battery management functions can be automatically completed, and then the system can automatically control the battery discharge process, and according to the set conditions to end the discharge test, into the battery automatic management, and then according to the battery capacity status of the battery floating charge management.

At the same time, the start time, voltage, stop time, voltage and battery discharge capacity of the test are recorded in the battery test record. Test records need to be obtained from the monitoring module by the background maintenance software. When the DC undervoltage alarm is generated, the system switches to the automatic working mode to prevent system exceptions caused by manual control. You can view historical alarm records and current alarm records. The historical alarm records include the alarm type, occurrence time, and end time (the end time is obtained through the background maintenance software). The current alarm records only contain the alarm type and occurrence time. A maximum of 200 historical alarm records are stored in cyclic storage mode. If the number of historical alarm records exceeds 200, the oldest alarm records are automatically cleared. Audible and visual alarm and alarm callback In a power system equipped with the monitoring background, when a critical alarm occurs, the monitoring module sends an alarm message to the monitoring background through the MODEM to request the background computer to handle the fault immediately. The user can set a callback phone number. On the monitoring module, you can set an alarm severity for each alarm type as required. The monitoring module provides different sound and visual alarm modes and alarm callback modes for different alarm severances.

Multiple methods To communicate with the background Monitoring module provides an RS232/MODEM communication port and eight sets of alarm dry contact output through the signal conversion board of the power system for communication with the background monitoring. When the communication interface is used, the monitoring module adopts the general power protocol and supports the EEM protocol. However, the baud rates of the receiver and sender must be the same. RS232 communication mode RS232 mode is mainly used for close-range end-to-end connection, the electrical distance is not more than 15 meters. Generally connected to the user's computer RS232 serial port. MODEM and EEM-M communication Modems and EEM-M communication Modems and EEM-M communication Modems and EEM-M communication modems and EEM-M communication modems implement remote monitoring over the public telephone network (PSTN). Modems use the power master protocol, and EEM-M communication uses the EEM protocol. In this mode, a MODEM must be equipped with power cables and communication cables. Dry contact output mode The monitoring module provides eight groups of dry contact output through the signal conversion board. Each group is classified into normally open or normally closed contacts. Before an alarm occurs, you need to configure each dry contact to correspond to an alarm type or logical alarm type group. In this way, once the alarm event or a logical set of alarm events occurs, the dry contact acts and sends an alarm to the outside world. If you have other intelligent monitoring devices, you can connect the alarm dry contact to the interface of the intelligent monitoring device to facilitate dry contact networking and implement level isolation of fault signals. Dry junction capacity: 2A@30Vdc; 0.5A@125Vac. Maximum power consumption: 60W
