BENTLY 60R/INP07 4-Channel Isolated DC Input Module
The BENTLY 60R/INP07 is a 4-Channel DC Input Module designed for the Bently Nevada 3300/20 or compatible Enhanced Machinery Protection System (EMPS) monitoring racks. This module serves as a versatile interface for integrating low-level DC voltage or current signals from external sensors or transmitters into the 3300 monitoring system. Its primary function is to condition, isolate, digitize, and scale incoming analog signals, making them available to the system for display, alarming, trending, and logic operations alongside traditional vibration and position parameters.
Technical Specifications
The 60R/INP07 provides 4 independent, configurable channels for DC input signals. Input types are configurable per channel and include voltage inputs for ranges such as 0-1 VDC, 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC, and ±5 VDC, as well as current inputs for 4-20 mA sensed via an internal precision resistor. The module may also support potentiometer or millivolt inputs depending on firmware. Input impedance is high for voltage inputs, typically greater than 1 MΩ, and low for current inputs, typically 250Ω for 4-20 mA. Each channel features channel-to-channel isolation and channel-to-backplane isolation rated at 500 Vrms for noise immunity and safety. Accuracy is high, typically ±0.1 percent of full scale or better, with high-resolution analog-to-digital conversion per channel.

Integration and Expansion
The 60R/INP07 expands the capability of a 3300 system beyond its core vibration monitoring role, allowing it to become a unified machinery health and process parameter monitoring platform. Typical signals connected include temperature signals from RTDs, thermocouples via transmitters, or direct millivolt outputs, pressure and flow signals from 4-20 mA transmitters, level and differential pressure signals, power or load signals, and analog outputs from other monitoring devices. Each of the four channels is independently configurable for input type and range.
Signal Processing
The module provides electrical isolation between channels and from the 3300 system backplane to ensure signal integrity and prevent ground loops. Once configured, the measured values are treated as standard process variables within the 3300 system, with full capabilities for setting alert and danger setpoints, generating relay outputs, and being communicated via system interfaces such as the 60R/PIM01 to DCS or plant networks. The module provides high-resolution analog-to-digital conversion with an update rate suitable for process monitoring applications.
Applications
The BENTLY 60R/INP07 is deployed in machinery protection applications requiring integration of diverse DC signal types into the 3300 monitoring system. Typical applications include temperature monitoring of bearings and process fluids using RTD or thermocouple transmitters, pressure monitoring of lubrication systems and process lines using 4-20 mA pressure transmitters, and flow monitoring of cooling systems and process streams. The module is also used in power generation for monitoring generator load signals, in oil and gas for pipeline pressure monitoring, and in any installation where low-level DC voltage or current signals from sensors and transmitters must be integrated into the 3300 protection system for comprehensive machinery health assessment.
