This distributed approach offloads analog processing overhead from the primary regulator, preserving deterministic execution speeds within the core excitation loops.

The hardware architecture of the Basler AEM-2020 features multiple independent, configurable analog channels designed to interface with standard industrial sensors. The module includes dedicated inputs for resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), supporting standard platinum or copper element curves.
