The ELAU C600/10/1/1/1/00 is a Modular Safety Relay Module from the ELAU C600 series, which is an integral part of Schneider Electric PacDrive formerly ELAU automation system designed for high-performance packaging, converting, and material handling machinery. This specific module functions as a configurable safety controller that integrates machine safety functions directly into the central machine control architecture. It is designed to receive signals from safety devices such as emergency stop buttons, safety gates, light curtains, and two-hand control stations, process this safety logic, and reliably de-energize hazardous movements such as servo drives by switching off safety-rated outputs.

Technical Specifications

The C600/10/1/1/1/00 complies with ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061, and IEC 61508 safety standards, achieving Performance Level e (PL e) and Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL 3). The module provides 10 safe digital inputs as indicated by the /10 code, typically dual-channel 24V DC for monitoring devices with OSSD outputs or safety contacts.
