By utilizing identity-aware networking, the switch can automatically apply different security and QoS profiles depending on who is logging into the network, significantly reducing the attack surface of the internal infrastructure.
Uplink Flexibility and Performance
To connect the edge to the network core, the A2H254-16-RH includes high-speed uplink ports. These can be used for Gigabit Ethernet connections over copper or fiber, ensuring that data-intensive traffic from the 16 edge ports is backhauled without latency. The switching fabric is designed for non-blocking performance, ensuring that data is forwarded at wire speed across all ports simultaneously.
