FUJI UG430H-TS1 10.4-Inch TFT Color HMI Touch Panel

The UG430H-TS1 is a human-machine interface (HMI) touch panel from Fuji Electric's UG30 series. It features a 10.4-inch TFT color LCD with 640 × 480 pixel resolution (VGA), providing clear and vibrant graphical displays for process monitoring and control. The resistive touchscreen supports finger or stylus input. The unit includes built-in Ethernet (10/100) and two serial ports (RS-232C and RS-422/485) for communication with PLCs, drives, and other devices. It is designed for panel-mount installation in industrial environments.

Software and Configuration

The UG430H-TS1 is programmed using Fuji Electric's V-SFT (Version 5.0 or higher) software, which supports creation of dynamic screens, alarms, data logging, and recipes. It supports communication drivers for most major PLCs (Fuji, Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) via standard protocols (Modbus, Fuji SX, etc.). The unit also includes a built-in web server for remote access via a standard browser.

Features and Functions

The unit supports multi-language screen switching, trend graphs, bar charts, and numeric/character entry. It can log data to internal memory (up to 1,000 samples) or to a USB flash drive. Alarm messages can be displayed and acknowledged, with history storage. The touch panel has a screen saver function to extend backlight life. An optional battery (CR2032) maintains the real-time clock during power loss.

Applications

Used in machine tool control, packaging machinery, and process monitoring. The UG430H-TS1 is a direct upgrade from earlier UG430H-TS0 and is compatible with the same mounting cutout. For larger projects, the UG530H series offers a 12.1-inch screen. Spare parts include a backlight replacement kit and protective films.
