INTRODUCTION

The PD45 is Honeywell’s new commercial grade  industrial printer, which is suited for manufacturing,  retail, transportation and logistics, health care, and  government applications. The PD45 is available  with standard features such as smart printing  capability, in which users can configure and finetune settings without the need for a host computer  by running apps right inside the printer – minimizing  the need to connect to a PC. With Honeywell print  platform that supports multiple print languages,  PD45 can be an effective alternative to the  competing printers available in the market.

Rugged:

Using industrial grade materials, the PD45 printer features an overall metal construction with an integrated all-metal die-cast aluminium frame that is strong and durable, providing a lifespan comparable to mid- to high-end industrial printers.

The unique design uses minimal internal mechanical components and an all-metal frame construction, making it more robust and durable for use in a wide range of application scenarios, including manufacturing, retail, logistics, healthcare, and government.

Superior performance:

Continuing the high performance of Honeywell's high-end heavy industrial printer, the PX940, offers excellent print accuracy and high label quality to meet a variety of complex printing needs.

Adopting Honeywell's unique dual sensors for front and rear label positioning, with an accuracy of ±0.75mm, it supports small labels with a minimum height of 5mm to print, and also has excellent accuracy output for pre-printed labels and complex hole-positioning tags.

The unique printhead heat algorithm helps to improve the print quality, even with different labels and ribbons, its print quality and crease control are comparable to mid-range industrial printers.

Easy to operate:

Depending on the usage environment, the PD45 offers two versions to choose from: the PD45BBC version features an ICON panel and supports USB interfaces; the PD45CCC features an LCD operation panel with standard network/serial/USB interfaces and supports rear-mounted WI-FI wireless module and cutter module.

The Chinese operating system and the three-layer paper-blocking design of the side-mounted media make the operation easier for any operator.

Intelligent Management:

Equipped with Honeywell Printer Edge printer platform, supporting remote firmware upgrade, IT managers can make unified deployment and preventive judgement of printers through webpage or PrintSet5 software.

Built-in multiple printing languages, support multiple printer command languages such as FP/DP/IPL/ZPL/DPL, convenient for users to configure and use.

Easy maintenance:

The print head is easy to disassemble and install without jamming, the cable is of moderate length, and the machine can quickly remove the rubber rollers after a paper jam, making it easy to clear the jam.

Support internal and external carbon, consumables free calibration, with good ribbon, paper, environmental applicability and user scene adaptability.
