The TAMR04 is part of Honeywell's TAMR series of actuator interface modules, used in commercial and industrial HVAC applications. It interfaces between a building management system (BMS) or controller and a modulating actuator (e.g., for air dampers or control valves). The module converts the analog command signal into a pulse-width modulated (PWM) or triac output to drive the actuator motor. It also provides a feedback signal to confirm position.

The TAMR04 receives a low-voltage command from a controller (e.g., room thermostat or BMS). It compares the command with the feedback signal and drives the actuator towards the desired position. The integrated microcontroller ensures smooth movement and prevents hunting. The module features adjustable deadband and direction of rotation. The manual override allows service personnel to position the actuator without electrical signals. The fault LED indicates if the actuator is stalled or if there is a wiring problem.
