The PCN01 is part of Honeywell's PCN series of panel-mount controllers, designed for simple and reliable process control. It provides an easy-to-read dual-line display showing process value and setpoint, with intuitive front-panel programming. The controller supports on/off, P, PI, and PID control modes with selectable action. It is commonly used for temperature control in ovens, furnaces, packaging machines, and environmental chambers.

The PCN01 continuously measures the process variable, compares it with the setpoint, and calculates the output using PID algorithms. The auto-tune function automatically determines optimal PID parameters by analyzing the process response during a test cycle. The controller also features soft-start, output limiting, and manual control mode. It stores up to 10 sets of parameters for different processes.
