Eaton Bussmann KRP-C-1100SP Low-Peak Fuse

The Eaton Bussmann KRP-C-1100SP is a premium Class L, time‑delay, current‑limiting fuse rated 1100 amperes at 600 volts AC. It is engineered to protect electrical distribution systems from damaging overloads and short circuits while withstanding normal transient currents such as motor inrush and transformer excitation. The Low‑Peak design ensures optimal coordination with downstream overcurrent devices, minimizing nuisance tripping and enhancing system selectivity.

The overload section uses a thermal alloy that responds to prolonged overcurrents but ignores brief inrush. The short‑circuit section uses a fast‑acting element that clears faults in less than half a cycle, limiting peak current and reducing stress on transformers, cables, and switchgear. This fuse is ideal for applications where high fault currents are possible and where protection coordination is critical.
