The LLASERGAS 12944-E (also known as LaserGas AO2000 LS25) is a tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) gas analyzer module designed for industrial combustion and emission monitoring. It provides in-situ, real-time measurement of O₂, CO, CH₄, and NH₃ in flue gases and process streams without the need for sample extraction or conditioning.
Measurement Principle: TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy)
Target Gases: O₂, CO, CH₄, NH₃ (depending on laser module)
Measurement Accuracy: CH₄: ±0.1% VOL; CO₂: ±0.01% VOL
Response Time:<2 seconds
Measurement Ranges: CH₄: 0-50,000 ppm (expandable to 100% VOL); CO₂: 0-100% VOL
Operating Temperature: -40°C to +70°C
Protection Rating: IP67 (chassis) / IP66 (some variants)
Communication Interfaces: RS-485 (Modbus RTU), Modbus TCP
Dimensions: 120 mm × 80 mm × 60 mm
Process Compatibility: Suitable for flue gases up to 1800°C, high dust, high humidity, corrosive environments

The 12944-E uses a laser beam that passes directly through the flue gas duct or process pipe. The absorption of specific wavelengths by target gas molecules is measured, providing a direct and instantaneous reading. This eliminates the need for extractive sampling systems, reducing maintenance and avoiding measurement delays. The module features automatic background compensation for water vapor, dust, and pressure fluctuations. The optical windows are made of sapphire or quartz and are equipped with automatic purging to prevent fouling.
This analyzer is used in power plants for boiler combustion optimization (O₂ monitoring), in cement kilns for CO and NOx control, in steel mills for process gas analysis, in waste incinerators for emission compliance, and in chemical plants for flammable gas detection. The 12944-E is a critical tool for improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions in industrial combustion processes.
