Mitsubishi Kakoki PLC Input/Output Module Set (E-01B-4130, E-01T-4131, E-01T-4157, E-31N-4132)
This collection of Mitsubishi Kakoki modules forms a complete I/O subsystem for PLC-based automation. The set includes the E-01B-4130 base/backplane unit, two input modules (E-01T-4131 and E-01T-4157), and one output module (E-31N-4132). These modules are designed for Mitsubishi's A-series or Kakoki-specific control systems, providing robust digital and analog signal interfacing for industrial machinery, particularly in packaging and food processing.
E-01B-4130 Base Unit
This is the mounting base that provides power distribution and bus communication for up to 8 I/O modules. It accepts 24 VDC input and generates 5 VDC for logic. It includes a fuse protection and status LED. Dimensions: 200 mm × 100 mm × 50 mm. Weight: 0.5 kg.
E-01T-4131 Digital Input Module
Provides 16 digital inputs (24 VDC, sink/source) with optocoupler isolation. Features LED indication per channel, response time 1.5 ms, and input impedance of 3 kΩ. Suitable for connecting limit switches, pushbuttons, and proximity sensors.
E-01T-4157 Digital Input Module (High-Speed)
Similar to the 4131 but optimized for high-speed counting and interrupt inputs. Supports up to 50 kHz input frequency with built-in noise filtering. It has 16 channels with selectable response time (0.2 ms or 1 ms). Ideal for encoder feedback and fast pulse signals.
E-31N-4132 Transistor Output Module
Provides 16 NPN transistor outputs (24 VDC, 0.5 A per point) with short-circuit protection. Common terminal for each group of 8 outputs. Output response time: 0.5 ms. Used for driving solenoids, relays, and indicator lights.
System Integration
All modules mount on the E-01B-4130 base and connect to a Mitsubishi A-series CPU via a dedicated ribbon cable. Power is supplied from the base unit. Programming and addressing are done through the PLC's I/O allocation table. The modules are rated for industrial environments with operating temperature 0–55°C and humidity 30–85% non-condensing.
Applications
Commonly used in food packaging lines, bottling plants, and assembly equipment. The combination of standard and high-speed inputs allows flexible configuration for mixed sensor types. For replacement, these modules are direct substitutes for original Mitsubishi A1S series with compatible pinouts.
