Built-in Ethernet port for network connectivity
Built-in USB port for convenient programming
Multi-CPU system capable (up to 4 CPUs)
Supports SD card for program and data logging
Real-time clock with battery backup
Compatible with GX Works3 software
The R02CPU is programmed using Mitsubishi GX Works3 (IEC 61131-3 languages: LD, ST, FBD, SFC). It supports function blocks, structured data types, and online editing. The built-in Ethernet port allows remote access and connection to HMIs. The CPU also features a built-in web server for diagnostics.
The R02CPU is suitable for small-scale control systems such as packaging machines, assembly fixtures, and conveyors. It can also be used as a sub-CPU in larger multi-CPU configurations.
Mount the CPU in any slot of an iQ-R series base unit (R3xxB). Connect 24V DC power to the base unit (the CPU draws power from the backplane). Insert an SD card if needed. Set the CPU number using DIP switches for multi-CPU configurations. Connect Ethernet and USB cables as required.
LEDs: RUN, ERR, USER, BAT, I/O. Use GX Works3 to read diagnostic buffer. The battery (type Q6BAT) retains real-time clock and retentive data; replace every 5 years.
The Mitsubishi R02CPU offers a compact, high-performance entry into the iQ-R series. With its built-in Ethernet, fast processing, and low cost, it is an ideal choice for small yet powerful PLC applications.
