The AP-4 module integrates a high-performance memory controller with ECC support for data integrity. The 256 MB memory configuration is ideal for applications requiring large look-up tables, extensive data logging, or complex real-time models. The module includes a PCI-to-VME bridge (Tundra Universe II) for high-throughput VMEbus transactions. Boot firmware (U-Boot) supports network boot, Flash boot, and boot from IDE devices. The module also features a programmable interrupt controller and DMA engines.
Data acquisition systems with large data buffers.
Telecommunications infrastructure (switching, signaling).
Industrial robotics and motion control.
Medical imaging and diagnostic systems.
Military radar and signal processing.
The module is supported by VxWorks, Linux, and QNX with BSPs available. The 256 MB memory configuration is fully addressable in 32-bit memory space. The PMC slot allows expansion with I/O modules such as high-speed serial, Gigabit Ethernet, or FPGA-based processing cards.
CE, FCC Class A.
RoHS compliant.
Designed for industrial environments per IEC 61000-6-2.
