NI USB-6509 industrial digital data acquisition module
NI USB-6509 is a high-density industrial digital data acquisition module, connected to the computer through USB transmission, is a small and portable data acquisition device. It is widely used in industrial analog or digital component acquisition.
The module is a bus-powered 96-channel digital input/output (I/O) device with 96 TTL/ CMOS-compatible digital I/O lines, a watchdog timer, digital input filtering and detecting changes, and output programmable power-up status. In addition, the NI USB-6509 comes with an optional external DC power supply for increased I/O drive strength.
In terms of performance, each port of the NI USB-6509 with eight digital lines can be individually configured for input or output mode. With USB power, users can get up to 24mA per channel to drive external digital devices such as solid-state relays (SSRS). In bus-powered mode, the USB-6509 has a total source current of up to 215mA across all digital output channels. An optional 12VDC power supply provides additional supply current.
