Basic Properties

Physical Characteristics:

Appearance and size: consists of multiple wires arranged in parallel and tied together by a flat broadband, flat in appearance, colour sorting is usually brown red orange yellow green green blue purple grey white black in a cyclic order or as per user requirements. Lengths are generally available in standard sizes such as 3 feet, but can be customised to suit specific requirements. The cable jacket is usually made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or other materials with good flexibility, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance.

Marking and Material: The cable surface is printed with clear model number ‘NKSB01-3’ and other relevant markings, such as brand, batch, etc. The internal conductor is usually made of high quality copper. The internal conductor is generally made of high quality copper with good conductivity and corrosion resistance, and the insulation layer is often made of polyethylene and other materials to ensure the stability and safety of signal transmission.

Electrical characteristics:

Rated voltage and current: The rated voltage and current are determined according to specific application scenarios and the load requirements of the connected equipment, and can generally meet the normal working voltage and current requirements of each device in the ABB Bailey Infi 90 system.

Functions and roles

Equipment connection and signal transmission: as a kind of connection cable, it can be used to connect various equipments in ABB Bailey Infi 90 system, such as PLC, I/O modules, communication modules, etc., and realise the signal transmission between equipments, so as to ensure that the data interaction and communication within the system can be carried out normally.

Supported ABB I/O Systems and Families

• S800 I/O, a distributed modular I/O system for communication via ModuleBus  and PROFIBUS DP. 

• S900 I/O, a remote I/O system (for hazardous areas) that can be connected to  PLCs via PROFIBUS DP. 

• S200 I/O and S200L I/O, two compatible, modular I/O systems. S200 I/O  modules can be connected via CI856 or PROFIBUS DP to PLCs. • S100 I/O, a rack-based I/O system that can be connected to PLC using the  CI856 interface module. 

• Satt I/O, makes it possible to use Satt Rack I/O (an older Satt I/O system)  connected to PLC using the CI865 communication interface.
