Product Overview

OMRON’s NQ series industrial Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), including models NQ3-TQ010-B and NQ5-TQ010-B, are compact touch screen terminals designed to provide intuitive operator control and real time visualization for industrial automation systems. The NQ5-TQ010-B features a 5.7 inch QVGA TFT color display with LED backlight, 256 colors (32,000 colors for images), and a resistive touch screen for reliable gloved hand operation. The NQ3 variant offers the same core functionality but with additional configuration options suited for simpler HMI requirements in the same family.

Engineered for direct connection to PLCs and other controllers, the NQ series HMIs incorporate multiple communication interfaces including Ethernet, dual serial ports (RS-232C and RS-485), USB host and USB slave ports, along with six programmable function keys. This feature set allows operators to monitor machine status, modify setpoints, acknowledge alarms, and initiate production sequences from a single centralized operator panel.

Applications
