The power supply is housed in a ventilated metal case with integrated fan (temperature-controlled). For operation in dusty environments, a fanless version is available by special order. The unit includes screw-type input and output terminals for secure wiring. A green LED indicates output status, and a red LED signals fault conditions.

Comprehensive protection includes: output overvoltage protection (crowbar at 28V), overcurrent limiting with constant current mode, short-circuit protection with automatic recovery, and thermal shutdown with hysteresis. The power supply also features input surge protection (MOV) and EMI filtering to meet EN 55022 Class B.
