Basic Parameters

Functional characteristics
Protection Function:
Overload protection: realised by the internal thermal release element. When the current in the circuit exceeds the rated current of 25A for a long time, the bimetal in the thermal release element will be bent and deformed due to heat, which will push the release mechanism to act, thus cutting off the circuit and effectively preventing the lines and equipment from being damaged due to overload.
Short-circuit protection: Once a short-circuit fault occurs in the circuit, the instantaneous generation of a huge short-circuit current will cause the electromagnetic release device to act quickly, generating a strong electromagnetic force to attract the armature, drive the release mechanism to quickly cut off the circuit, limiting the impact of the fault to a minimum range, to protect the equipment and personnel safety.
Withholding characteristic: adopting K-type withholding characteristic curve, which is the unique withholding characteristic of ABB, after a long period of practical verification, the response to fault current is more sensitive and accurate, which can be better adapted to the protection needs of the motor system or transformer system and other loads, and effectively avoid damages to the equipment caused by overloads or short circuits.
Installation: DIN rail mounting, this way is simple and convenient, can be easily installed on the standard DIN rail, in the distribution cabinet and other electrical equipment for flexible layout, saving installation space and time, improve installation efficiency.
