Triconex 9662-810 Digital input panel

The Triconex 9662-810 is a digital input patch board with analog output capabilities and ICS features. It employs a fully tripling fault-tolerant system to provide the highest level of security and availability. The hardware implementation of the fault tolerance (HIFT) and voting function ensures the stability and reliability of the system. In addition, it has a 1-millisecond SOE event recording function, uses a 64-bit CPU, and is equipped with independent temperature and humidity sensors.

The patch board is not limited by the number of online modifications, can define the front panel LED light status, and support adjacent slot/smart slot hot replacement. It also has a dedicated speed monitoring module T8442, which can be used for fire gas systems mixed with the TMR T8448 module.

In terms of scalability, the Triconex 9662-810 performs well. It can be configured with up to 10 extension racks (including remote racks), supports 128 I/O modules, and approximately 5,000 points of I/O.

In terms of power supply and protection, the Triconex 9662-810 uses dual power supply redundant inputs with a voltage range of DC(9-36)V, with a typical value of DC24V, and a power consumption of less than 4W. It also has DC1500V voltage isolation and reverse protection, using industrial terminal interface. At the same time, the terminal board is also equipped with fiber link fault and power fault alarm output functions, the contact capacity is DC48V/1A, the same industrial terminal interface.

In addition, the Triconex 9662-810 has a variety of application scenarios. For example, it can transmit data through the analog output of a scale for a bag filling machine or station to automate the filling of industrial bags with various types of materials. In robotic applications, it can be combined with Texas Instruments' MSP430G2 LaunchPad to enable MSP430-based line following via infrared sensors.
