Accelerating digital transformation and clean energy research and development has become one of the development directions of shipyards and ship supporting equipment enterprises in recent years.

Recently, reporters from the Paper followed the 2022 SOE Open Day jointly sponsored by the Publicity Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and China Shipbuilding Group. Visited the Bohai Shipyard Group Co., LTD. (Boshan Group), Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., LTD. (Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Group) and Qingdao Shuangrui Marine Environmental Engineering Co., LTD. (725 Tsingdao Shuangrui) of China State Shipbuilding Group, and visited the production line and important products. In-depth understanding of the shipbuilding industry heritage, development, reform and innovation of the spiritual core.

On November 26, 2019, the former China State Shipbuilding Industry Group and the former China Shipbuilding Industry Group implemented joint restructuring, and China State Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. was formally established. After the reorganization, China State Shipbuilding Group has a total asset of 877.6 billion yuan, 220,000 employees, 103 member units, 35 research institutes, 65 national innovation platforms, 13 academicians of the Academy of Engineering, and more than 300 professional directions of research and development design work. It has maintained steady improvement in various economic indicators for years, and has become the world's largest shipbuilding group.

The Boboat Group, which was founded in 1954, is the only shipyard among the 156 key construction projects during the "First Five-Year Plan" period, and is called the first shipyard of New China. Boship Group has modern facilities such as seven-span indoor berth workshop and 300,000-ton dock, which can realize three-dimensional digital design of the whole process, and has strong steel processing and ship final assembly and construction capabilities.

Founded in 1898, Ofunao Group is the main base of ship assembly, construction and maintenance support in China, known as the "cradle of Chinese naval ships". Ofunao Group is the shipyard that designs and builds the largest number of hulls and upper modules of offshore floating production and storage vessels (FPSO) in China, and the 300,000-ton super large oil tankers built account for about 15% of the world's operating fleet. Ofunao Group has a total of 21 docks, 10 slipways, and 21 kilometers of outfitting docks, covering a total area of 12.3 million square meters.

Founded in 1961, China Shipbuilding 725 Institute, a subsidiary of Qingdao Shuangrui, is a military scientific research institution specializing in ship material development and engineering application research. In 2021, the operating income exceeded 9.5 billion yuan, and the brand value of 725 Shuangrui reached 6.62 billion yuan. 725 Qingdao Shuangrui has made outstanding achievements in the fields of corrosion control, water treatment, gas treatment and so on.

Bohai Ship Group: realize the parallel construction of module assembly and berth construction

Through independent technological innovation, Boship Group has established innovation platforms such as state-level enterprise technology center and National Engineering Research Center for shipbuilding, established advanced welding and intelligent manufacturing laboratories, and has nearly 10,000 sets of advanced experimental equipment. In the Boboat Group intelligent manufacturing assembly and robot welding production line, the surging news reporters felt the new "vitality" in the old workshop. In terms of intelligent manufacturing, Boship Group opens up the digital manufacturing link of the whole process. Among them, the segmented production workshop has been put into use. In view of the shortage of CNC process equipment in the main process of segmented production, digital assembly and welding process equipment such as plane segment has been developed. At present, the development of assembly prototype such as plane segment has been completed, and the acceptance conditions have been met.

In addition, BOSCO shortened the construction cycle of subsequent products, and realized the fundamental transformation of module assembly and berth construction from serial operation to parallel construction. The "ten gigabit backbone, ten gigabit desktop" backbone network is basically completed, and the workshop manufacturing special network terminal is basically covered to the station level.

Ofunao Group: The volume of goods in the second half of the year will increase by 20% compared with the first half

In Ofunao Group, the paper reporters visited the application industry mask production line, steel processing production site, offshore floating production and storage vessel (FPSO), and boarded the 300,000 tons very large crude oil carrier (VLCC).

On the 300,000-ton very large crude oil ship (VLCC), Li Jiming, manager of the 300,000-ton tanker project of China Shipbuilding Corporation, introduced to the media, including the Surging news reporters, that the cargo hold of crude oil under the deck can hold 2 million barrels of crude oil when fully loaded, and the value of crude oil is more than 200 million US dollars. The ship is expected to conduct sea trials at the end of August, and it is expected that the ship can be handed over to the owner in September, and the shipbuilding cycle of the ship type is 13 months to 14 months.

Li Jiming told surging news reporters that in terms of orders, there are currently 117 VLCC super large crude oil vessels. The price increase of steel puts great pressure on the cost control of shipbuilding. Since the ship contract is usually signed two or three years ago and the price is fixed, shipyards usually reduce the cost of shipbuilding through some energy-saving measures as the price of raw materials rises.

"Container ships have reached the peak of the market in the past two years, and the big ship group has also begun the transition stage from tanker construction to container ship construction." Li Jiming told Surging news reporters that now the world's major liner companies are investing in the construction of new container ships, so the major domestic shipyards are also slowly transforming the construction of container ships. In addition, on the basis of traditional power, are in the transition to high-tech value-added dual-fuel ships, LNG powered ships have been very common.

In recent years, the Ofunao Group has established the "cloud negotiation, cloud signing, cloud delivery" model, and the production schedule has been comprehensively accelerated, and the overall delivery volume has shown a growing trend. In the first half of 2022, Ofunao Group delivered 10 new civilian vessels / 1.405 million deadweight tons, and new products accounted for 50% of the launched ships, an increase of 67%. A number of new products, such as the 308,000-ton very large crude oil carrier project and floating production, storage and unloading tanker (FPSO-8), were launched smoothly.

Yang Zhizhong, Secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Daofuan Group, introduced at the media exchange meeting that since 2022, the market demand for Marine industry of civil ships is still strong, and in the first half of the year, Daofuan Group completed 32 ships / 2.933 million tons of Marine products, and the total contract amount exceeded 16 billion yuan, which has completed the annual target ahead of schedule. The orders of each production base are relatively full, and basically received from 2025 to 2026.

Yang Zhizhong also said, "We think that the current level of market activity will continue, by the end of this year or even the first quarter of next year, there is no big problem, of course, the peak has passed, the future is more and more focused on some individual, specific ship market." LNG carriers are still very popular and container ships are still in demand."

Liu Chuan, deputy chief economist and Minister of production management of Big Ship Group, said at the media exchange meeting that the volume of Big Ship Group in the second half of the year will increase by 20% compared with the first half of the year. From the point of view of next year's volume, it is estimated that there will be an increase of about 20% to 30%.

725 Qingdao Shuangrui: Marine hydrogen fuel must be an important development direction in the future

In 725 Qingdao Shuangrui, the paper reporters visited the company's exhibition hall and intelligent equipment workshop, through three-dimensional animation, VR images and other ways to experience the high-tech industry, the company's modern management model and information, digital factory construction.

As a leader in the ship supporting equipment industry, Qingdao Shuangrui's ship ballast water management system is one of the few Marine key equipment with fully independent intellectual property rights in China. The core components of the system electrolytic cell module unit, with independent knowledge and core technology, meet international standards, can completely replace imported products.

Fu Hongtian, general manager of Qingdao Shuangrui, introduced to reporters at the media exchange meeting that Qingdao Shuangrui has received more than 3,000 orders and delivered more than 2,100 ships. Among them, the global market share of medium and large ships accounted for 30%, achieving global market coverage, foreign orders accounted for 80%, and ranked first in the market share and shipment volume of medium and large ships ballast water treatment.

Reporters from the paper visited Qingdao Shuangrui's MES, WMS and intelligent production lines, and learned about the operation of the digital production command system from the aspects of sales service, production and manufacturing, inspection and tracking.

Qingdao Shuangrui has established a resource allocation system with enterprise resource planning (ERP) as the core, and formed an integrated business platform with project management as the core. The person in charge introduced, established the project plan execution platform, and strengthened the control of the whole process from design to product delivery. The establishment of the production and operation command center greatly shortened the production cycle, and the ballast water project execution cycle was shortened from 210 days to less than 60 days, reaching the industry-leading level. In addition, the on-time delivery rate of production increased from 42% to more than 90%, and the inventory fell by 83%.

Guo Yu, deputy general manager of Qingdao Shuangrui, told reporters at the media exchange that there are still some bottlenecks in the application of Marine hydrogen fuel, in some European countries, some hydrogen fuel vessels that have been put into operation are actually demonstration projects, and have not yet formed a closed loop in the industrial chain, in transport storage and ship applications, there are still some technical problems. However, from the perspective of the future development of ships and the world's carbon emission reduction, hydrogen fuel must be an important development direction in the future.

"No matter how good a product is, it has a life, and after a certain time it will become backward." Although there are still some difficulties in exploring the zero-carbon fuel ship assembly system, the strength is the base of Qingdao Shuangrui scientific research talents to overcome the difficulties.

In February 2022, Qingdao Shuangrui Marine methanol fuel supply system obtained LR Classification Society AIP certificate. In July, the Marine ammonia Fuel supply system (AFSS) independently developed by Qingdao Shuangrui won the world's first LR and CCS classification Society Original Reason recognition (AIP) certificate, which is another major breakthrough made by Qingdao Shuangrui in the field of ship clean energy supply system.
