COM6: Multi protocol configurable, supports RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and RS-485+(with automatic direction control or enhanced driver), and selects the working mode through jumper or BIOS settings. This port is particularly suitable for connecting remote sensors, frequency converters, or smart meters, and can directly achieve differential communication without the need for additional converters.
All serial ports are led out from the onboard 10 pin pin pin through the matching COM port cable (with bracket), and a dual port cable is randomly attached for easy installation on the front panel of the chassis.
4.2 USB and Keyboard/Mouse
9 USB 2.0 ports: One is located on the panel (standard Type A), four are led out through onboard pins (cable required), and the other four are provided through the backplane (USB signal defined by PICMG 1.3). Supports multiple USB devices, such as keyboards, mice, USB drives, cameras, etc.
PS/2 interface: 1 Mini DIN socket, capable of simultaneously connecting keyboard and mouse (via Y-shaped cable), suitable for pure industrial environments that do not require USB.
4.3 Parallel ports and floppy drives
The parallel port (LPT) supports SPP/ECP/EPP mode and can be used to connect parallel port printers or old-fashioned EPROM programmers.
The floppy drive interface (FDD) supports 1.44MB/2.88MB floppy drives, making it easy to upgrade old system firmware.
4.4 Audio
The onboard High Definition Audio pin head (HDA) needs to be connected to a DB-Audio2 motherboard (optional) to provide Mic in, Line in, and Line out interfaces, suitable for situations that require voice alarms or recording.

Display and Expansion Slot
5.1 Display Output
Integrated graphics card: Only available when using processors with built-in GPUs (i5-660, i3-540, G6950), output signals are achieved through onboard PCIe Mini Card slots or external PCIe x16 graphics cards? ——Original text description: The integrated graphics card signal needs to be output through the PCI Express x16 or onboard PCI Express Mini Card slot (for optional mPCle-8770 graphics card), which means that the card itself does not have a direct VGA/DVI/HDMI interface and must be converted through an expansion card or daughter card. Users should note that if using a CPU (i7-860/i5-750) without an integrated graphics card, a dedicated graphics card (such as a standard PCIe x16 graphics card or mPCle-8770) must be installed.
Independent graphics card: Provides PCI Express x16 slots, supports full height graphics cards, and can drive multiple displays or high-performance graphics applications (such as machine vision). At the same time, there is a PCIe Mini Card slot on the board that can accommodate the mPCle-8770 (2D VGA display card) as a low-cost display solution, saving x16 slots for other high-speed devices.
5.2 Expansion Slot
As a PICMG 1.3 system motherboard, its PCIe and PCI resources are expanded through the backplane. The NuPRO-E330 itself provides a PCIe x16 and a PCIe Mini Card, while the remaining PCIe and traditional PCI signals are transmitted to the expansion slots on the backplane through backplane connectors (P1/P2), depending on the backplane design (such as a 14 slot backplane that can expand up to 7 PCIe and 6 PCI devices).
Network and Remote Management
Onboard dual network card:
Intel 82578DM Gigabit Ethernet PHY: Supports Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) 6.0 and provides hardware based remote management features such as remote boot, BIOS updates, and operating system recovery, which can be accessed through the management console even when the system is not running. This feature requires cooperation with Intel management engine drivers and AMT configuration software.
Intel 82574L Gigabit Ethernet Controller: an independent PCIe x1 controller that supports Wake on LAN (WOL) and can be used as a regular data network interface, as well as forming dual network redundancy or load balancing with 82578DM.
If AMT needs to be enabled, the relevant options need to be enabled in the BIOS and ensure that it is connected to a switch or router that supports AMT.
Mechanical, environmental, and power characteristics
Appearance: Full length PICMG 1.3 (338mm × 126mm), height compatible with standard 4U industrial control chassis.
Working temperature: 0~60 ℃, storage -20~80 ℃, humidity 10%~90%, no condensation.
Power consumption: Depending on the CPU model, the maximum TDP is 95W (i7-860/i5-750), and it is recommended to use a matching 1U/2U/3U heat sink (corresponding models are included in the random selection list). Note that the 95W processor may require forced air cooling inside a sealed chassis.
Safety certification: CE, FCC Class A, compliant with industrial electromagnetic compatibility standards.
