Address and Protocol Settings
The central unit serves as the master station, and the remote module serves as the slave station. The address of the slave station is set through DIP switches.
Communication protocol selection: Supports MODBUS RTU, PROFIBUS-DP, etc., and must be consistent with the protocol of the upper computer or PLC.
Program Download and Testing
Back up the original configuration before downloading the program to avoid overwriting critical data.
Segmented testing: First test the functionality of a single module (such as input point disconnection, output start stop), and then adjust the system logic in conjunction.
Debugging and troubleshooting
Check before powering on
Confirm that all wiring is secure, without short circuits or looseness, and that the power supply voltage meets the module labeling.
Disconnect the load, power on without load first, and observe the status of the module indicator lights (such as power light, running light, fault light).
Indicator light diagnosis
Normal state: The power light (green) is always on, the running light (green) is flashing, and the no fault light (red) is on.
Common faults:
Red fault light on: Check for power supply, bus connection, or internal module errors (such as overload, short circuit).
The input/output light is not on
